MAY 8 MEETING:
What Trustees Need to Know About
Business Interruption Insurance

Since being declared a global pandemic on March 11, the coronavirus (COVID-19) has caused widespread loss of life, disruption of global supply chains, uncertainty, and enormous business interruption losses. While the human toll is and will remain incalculable, insurance claims may cover some business losses.  Trustees appointed in business cases will want to know whether the estates they administer have viable claims against insurers for lost income or other casualty losses arising from the spread of the virus.  Experienced coverage lawyers will explain how trustees might identify, preserve, document, assert, and resolve these claims.
